Who we are

Aqyanos is an online marketplace for used-car auctions. Vehicle listings are posted by Aqyanos administrators. Registered users can view listings and place bids.

We operate in Dubai (UAE), Afghanistan, Russia.

1) Information we collect

A. Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, phone number.
• Identity verification: an image of your government-issued identification card (as required for account verification and auction participation).
• Profile information: profile photo and any optional profile details you choose to provide.
• Bidding and participation information: your bids, bid history, and your bidding limit/deposit amount used to enable bidding (note: payments are handled outside the app; see Section 5).
• Support communications: messages you send to us (for example, emails to support).

B. Information collected automatically

• Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language settings, and similar technical details.
• Log and usage information: timestamps, pages/screens viewed, actions within the app, and diagnostic information (for example, error logs) that help us maintain and secure the Service.
• Network information: IP address and general network metadata when you connect to our servers.
• Push notification token: if you enable notifications, we may process a device token to deliver notifications via Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

We do not collect precise location data and we do not run in-app advertising.

2) How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and provide the Service.
• Verify identity and help prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized activity.
• Enable auction participation, record bids, and display relevant auction information.
• Communicate with you about your account, bids, updates, security notices, and support.
• Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

3) How information is shared

We may share information only as needed to operate the Service, including:

• With service providers that help us run the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery, and push notification infrastructure). These providers are authorized to process information only on our instructions and for the purposes described in this Policy.
• With delivery/fulfillment partners when necessary to arrange vehicle delivery, which may include sharing limited contact details (such as your name and phone number) for coordination.
• For legal and safety reasons if we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Aqyanos.
• Business transfers if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Visibility of bids and marketplace activity

Because Aqyanos is an auction marketplace:

• Your bids may be visible to other registered users who have access to the auction (for example, bid amount and related auction activity).
• Vehicle listings are posted by Aqyanos administrators, and users can browse those listings.

If you do not want your bidding activity to be visible to other registered users, please do not place bids.

5) Payments and deposits

To participate in bidding, you may be required to provide a deposit or bidding limit amount.

Payments are handled outside the app (for example, in person or by calling support). We do not collect or store card details inside the app.

We may record payment/deposit status and amounts as part of your account and auction participation history.

6) Data retention

We keep your information as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.

If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify your information where feasible, but we may retain certain records for legitimate business or legal purposes (for example, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and compliance obligations).

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8) International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries where we operate or where our service providers operate, including Dubai (UAE), Afghanistan, Russia. When information is transferred across borders, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate protections consistent with this Policy.

9) Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@aqyanos.com.

10) Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

11) Account deletion

To request account deletion, email info@aqyanos.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include:

• Registered email address
• Registered phone number
• Full name on the account

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
